Floral Imperfection

"Have no fear of perfection – you'll never reach it." - Salvador Dali This portfolio expanded my horizon in exploring beauty and color. This photo series helped me to expand in the pursuit of subtlety. I seek what I perceive as truly beautiful beyond the norm. Inspiration is found in the ‘Mortuus Flores’ series of studio photographer Dan Forbes. The use of wilted and dying flowers and the gothic style of the black background has brought out nuances I never experienced before.
